Announcement
It is with mixed emotion that I would like to announce that Ana Nungo will be leaving the WIE Chicago Section. I say mixed emotion because although I am deeply saddened by the thought of Ana leaving, yet I am elated because she has accepted a wonderful and well deserved opportunity outside of our region. As most of you know, Ana accepted the role of Secretary as a WIE Chicago Section officer. Not only did she value the role, she stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond the call of duty. Ana, who was a top engineering student at UIC, brought added value to WIE as she provided critical input and countless hours of volunteer work. She fully embraced the vision of WIE by utilizing her diverse talent to innovate and recruit students in the engineering discipline. Now as she branches out in a larger role, she embraces our mission as she shares her technical skills globally. Please join me in congratulating Ana on her move and best wishes in her new role. On behalf of WIE, thank you Ana for a job well done. You will be sorely missed.
